About

Welcome daylily friends and enthusiasts! Moving a daylily operation to a new location can be quite an undertaking but we have successfully moved our operation to Blue Ridge Daylilies in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, near Asheville. The display beds, evaluation beds and Introduction line-out and seedling beds were moved in the Summer of 2015 and we are excited about the possibilities that await us in our new mountainside surroundings! The bloom here in 2016  and 2017 was breathtaking and we welcomed many garden visitors from June -August. We are busy making more changes and additions again this year so 2018 is sure to be an exciting experience for everyone.  Plan your visit for next bloom season. We look forward to seeing you all! Our peak bloom is always around the first week of July.

I am pleased to offer my new 2018 Daylily Introductions for Spring shipping. This is a special group of daylilies that have been carefully evaluated and grown outdoors, in-ground in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Our daylilies are guaranteed to grow and bloom with minimal care or will be replaced. We ship healthy Double Fans and love to surprise our customers with a little something extra!

Check my speaking schedule for upcoming talks at daylily clubs, societies and symposiums.

May your garden always be filled with abundant blessings!

My Primary Focus

Eric Simpson
My focus is to create northern hardy plants with outstanding plant habit and colorful appeal. My primary interest has been to work with tetraploid round & ruffled, eyed & edged and blue eyed & patterned daylilies. Most recently, I have begun working with unusual forms in both tet. and diploid. I am humbled and blessed to be able to use these incredible genetics our amazing Creator has provided. It has been a blessing to share in the joy of daylily hybridizing and this journey has been exciting thus far!
